The Incredible Two-Deck Zen Superyacht

Thanks to a combined collaboration by Feadship Royal Dutch Shipyard and Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, the 262-foot Zen superyacht concept was born as a two-deck party vessel.  Parting company with the highly popular multi-deck motif, the yacht stretches over two decks; the first one embraces guests with plush lounge chairs, crescent-shaped couches, and divans.  While the other deck boasts a 26 foot long swimming pool, which on clear days glistens under the unending blue skies, and with the always close by Jacuzzi on deck, life on the water becomes all the more incredible.

The yacht has been brilliantly adorned with silk carpets, dark wood, and soft chenille fabrics to follow a modern style that brings a cheerful, welcoming feeling forward.  Offering a variety of amenities, Zen includes an on board gym, cinema, and a formal dining room.  In addition, the full-beam owner’s suite features a bedroom, an office, a lounge, his & her bathrooms, his & her dressing rooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows.  Zen can accommodate up to 12 guests, and can cruise the seas at speeds of up to 18 knots.

This New Feadship Is A True Joy

The 230-foot Motor Yacht Joy, built by Feadship is much more than meets the eye, with what may seem like a somewhat ordinary design from further away is not all that ordinary upon a closer examination.  As Bannenberg & Rowell (the London-based studio assigned with the exterior designing of Joy) created an array of amazingly elegant decks as well as al fresco areas that augment the exterior space to even greater extents.  The superyacht Joy has greatly lowered bulwarks moderately coated with glass to forge a genuine open-concept Feadship vessel.

For those who enjoy a good game of basketball, the expanded foredeck features a basketball court so that guests can play a game while their friends or family watch the whole thing beneath a shaded lounge.  At the back-end, the traversal door transitions into a canopy to screen the considerably large swimming platform.  Joy also features a disco boasting colorful lighting, plush seating, and a wall-size television.  In addition, the vessel is equipped with a faithful tender bay and a gym that launches onto a deck.  Joy is extremely spacious accommodating up to 12 guests and 17 crew.

Benetti Sells Their Third Jaw-Dropping Delfino 95′ Super Yacht

Even though the Cannes Yachting Festival has concluded, a variety of yacht manufacturers are still leading up a storm of successful events that are showcasing the best of the best.  Even famed Italian Super Yacht builder Benetti is in a good mood, thanks to their recent sale of the third Delfino 95′ super yacht.

The delivery of this 29-meter super yacht will begin in the year of 2018, but Benetti vows to provide buyers with a sumptuous not to mention stylish design.  The yacht comes from Benetti’s Class D range, featuring external lines on the exterior, and design features by Giorgio Cassetta.  Benetti also requested the assistance of designer Achille Salvagni to construct a luxurious and comfortable interior, in which case whoever the yacht’s new owner might be will have the most enjoyable of times.

Through the many years Benetti has been in business, their shipyard has created some of the best, first-rate designs in the world.  One of their latest awards was the World Yacht Trophies Award 2016 for the grand 64-meter Benetti FB264.  And so with the name of Benitti in mind, you can rest assured that they will always deliver the most spectacular of super yachts in the most extraordinary of ways, after all that is just the way Benetti has and will always do things.

The Amazing Azimut 100 Leonardo

The Azimut 100 Leonardo is a thing of beauty that gives you a more spacious as well as a more laid-back vibe, witch maximizes space in the most ingenious way with its flybridge.  This yacht differs from most in this perspective as it not only maximizes the space for the utmost comfort, but also gives a unique touch to the cutting edge design of the Azimut 100 Leonardo.

The Vicem 65 Flybridge

Just recently, the Vicem 65 Flybridge made its debut in the always lively Palm Beach, Florida.  The new Turkish-built yacht has caused the local population abuzz with it’s small yet attractive appearance, as Vicem Yachts created the 18.5-foot beam yacht so that guests would feel a sense of amenity and tranquility.

The yacht is so spacious that it offers owners an array of layout options to choose from, one example was when it debuted in March at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, in which it included an office area and a gallery on the main deck plus three cabins below.  The vessel even had space that could have been used for the crew area, but is now designed as a childrens cabin that connects to the owner’s stateroom.  The 65 Flybridge has a range of more than 1,000 nautical miles at 10 knots or 350 nautical miles at cruising speed of 22 knots, in addition the yacht is mostly made out of African and South American mahogany.  The Vicem 65 Flybridge is priced from $2.75 million.  ALL ABOARD!

The Super Yacht Concept That Hovers Above The Water

Designer Jonathan Schwinge has created a conceptual super yacht named Tetra with a pyramid-shaped body that’s designed to lift itself above the water at high speeds.  This futuristic yacht gets its name Tetra from its unconventional tetrahedron shape, making its appearance unlike any other yacht concept thus far.

The yachts hovering like presence would be formed by a “hydrofoil small waterplane area ship” a (HYSWAS) hull.  Hydrofoil vessels have hulls fitted with shaped vanes (commonly called foils) underneath, which brings the hull out of the water at travelling speed, allowing the vessel to move faster by reducing drag on the waters surface.  Jonathan Schwinge said “The design is instigated by the re-thinking of the form, superstructure and propulsion of the modern superyacht into a radically simple enclosure and an elevated mode of travel above the water line.”

Utilizing the same fundamentals, the Tetra would travel using three hulls on its underside at low speeds.  Once it picks up momentum, a torpedo-shaped strut would expand downwards – to help in bringing the yacht out of the water using its rotating side-mounted adjustable foils.  “The concept design of this HYSWAS craft is based upon an existing hull design that has been developed by several companies, notably the Maritime Applied Physics Corporation in America, and has been proven by their technology demonstrator – The Quest – in 1995,” said Schwinge.

The yacht could provide a smoother ride in stormy ocean conditions when its out of the water, according to the designer.  When docked, portions of Tetra’s three sides would fold down to become enlarged deck areas and the horizontal panels could emerge overhead to provide sun shades.

The yacht would use Carbon Fibre and stainless steel for the superstructure making it lighter and giving it more strength compared to most traditional yachts, which have heavy and difficult to maneuver bodies.  The concept would be able to accommodate six passengers and four crew members.  Presently we are not sure whether the design would be realized or not, but it is a very interesting concept to say the least.

A 96 Meter Feadship Hits the Market

Currently undergoing the last stages of construction at Feadship; is the 96 meter project Vertigo (known as Hull Number 1006) with exterior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon and an interior created by Chahan Interior Design.  Vertigo has just been listed for sale in early May, offering prospective buyers a one of a kind opportunity to take delivery of a brand new nearly 100 meter vessel in an unparalleled short time frame.  Project Vertigo is scheduled to be delivered in early 2017.

The sleek exterior is the result of a close collaboration between the owners and famed British studio Redman Whitely Dixon.  The Vessel’s appearance is characterized by elegant curves and a functional deck layout to boast outdoor areas.  Common Feadship signatures like a stretching bow have remained, which will allow for a helicopter landing pad and hangar below able to house a Bell 429.

Inside, Vertigo will accommodate up to 18 guests and a crew of 34.  Paris-based interior design house Chahan Interior Design has created a tasteful mix of elegance and sophistication among the yachts interior spaces.  Open and clean living areas throughout blend clearly into the exterior living areas.  A dedicated owner’s deck is found above the bridge deck that houses a full width forward-facing master suite.  A passage way leads aft to a private lounge that looks out onto the aft deck to Vertigo’s most impressive feature her 9m x 4m swimming pool.  Heavy duty laminated glass panels were created to construct the pool and form the ceiling of the beach club that sits below.

Azure Naval Architects have been employed since the early days of design & development and still remain as the owners on-site representatives.  Project Vertigo will feature two MTU 16V 4000 M63L engines that will provide a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.

The Sailing Yacht Inspired by an Albatross

Designed by Timur Bozca of Turkey, the Cauta yacht concept is a futuristic lightweight high performance sailing yacht with an extensive range of high-tech features.
